it is so interesting to note that after yilmaz' first statement, people in the know instantly identified annabelle rama as the "materialistic relative" in his open letter ... and in the same breath, annabelle and ruffa also assumed the same - why? because they are guilty as hell and knew it in their heart that they have that streak of "materialism" yilmaz had pointed out. so, their answer? the "may-i-go-to-the-press"-strategy to air their side. hilarious isn't it? now that yilmaz cleared the intentions of his statement - things certainly is taking another turnabout.

what really happened? yilmaz, during last week's conversations with ruffa, obviously gave her an ultimatum to choose between marriage or divorce. instead of thinking things through, ruffa went to press bout their marital problems by spilling her "heart's pain and confusion" to ricky lo - thus the circus and "soap opera"-development of the whole thing. annabelle jumped into the bandwagon and showed her true colours (as if we do not know her) and informed us, the public, what she really think of the union between her unica hija and the turkish millionaire (daw!). mother spilled out her worries and worse nightmares about what would happen to ruffa and her grandchildren if they go back to istanbul. why is she preempting the possible reconciliation between the two? both ruffa and annabelle claim there is a valid reason. well, since they love to spread their dirty linen to the public time and again, why can they not divulge this reason as well? is it because it is only an imagination in their minds? a ghostly apparition not supported by facts?

today, there will yet be another interview from annabelle in showbiz central. i am beginning to think all this hullabaloo is all a product of gimmickry - just for the show. the latest hype about ruffa's re-christening with invited TV and press people is a suave move from ruffa to get herself away from the muslim's sharia law in case yilmaz contest custody of her children. but she forgot something - she has dedicated herself in a muslim rite with yilmaz in istanbul, which still makes her WIFE of yilmaz ... and for her own sake, i just hope she didn't have a turkish citizenship, or dual citizenship for that matter.

one big puzzle really is the distance the whole gutierrez family have put between them and yilmaz. according to him, NOBODY in her family have talked or contacted him since this whole thing exploded in the newspapers. if true that it's only ruffa who speaks to him many times over the phone, who is there to know what the real score is. remember, rufa is a big liar - she could have said things opposite of what was really discussed between her and yilmaz. read between the lines in the above 2nd statement from yilmaz. now, everything looks very shady as a whole - drama, drama, drama.

there is already some betting going around - ruffa will definitely go back to istanbul. as to how is another question. yilmaz seemed determined for this to happen - so, let's wait and see.
