i think it was late 80s or early 90s when the gutierrez family return to philippines from US. that time, the queen of talk show is inday badiday( luz carvajal, mother of dolly ann carvajal, take note also that the grandfather of dolly ann was formerly a Philippine ambassador). she is very influential in the sense mas sikat pa sya compared sa the buzz and showbiz central… inday was one who helped eddie g. in so many ways, one of which is money ( binigyan talaga nya si annabelle and eddie because nga wa cash sila)… and of course if an artista guested in her show maganda ang media mileage…. it was also in this program of inday badiday where cristy fermin, lolit solis and the likes started… para silang mga neophytes na under training… soon they become competitions to her.

fast forward to ruffa’s life, she is rebellious in many ways… so nag-artista na rin and eventually paired with some guys and na-involve with dennis da silva… because of being rebellious ayun sya pa ang nagyaya na mag-elope sila ni dennis…. eventually, annabelle stormed dennis’ house and binawi si ruffa… this was the start of her calling people patay-gutom… then on ruffa get entangled with different men…

the issue of her being second princess in ms world i think has a connection with the brunei scandal… there was a batch of beauties who went to brunei to entertain the family of sultan… and when this batch came back, they started buying some properties… here ruffa bought her beverly hills condo in greenhills ….

then, the family went into producing films …

in between they got entangled with different scandals, ruffa and friends were photoed topless while getting drunk… ayun, one of the girls’ boyfriend sort of posted the photos in the internet… sila yun

annabelle for her part learned the ropes in the showbiz world… on the side she sells jewelries, manage mga starlets (these are the bold genre), and then yun nga produce some concerts and 1 or 2 movies, and also was able to have her own clouts in media… and her other sideline is to supply por kilo sa mga DOM na corrupt politicians… at one time, i think in startalk or s-files there was a starlet crying and accusing annabelle of being bugaw… the following episode annabelle was in the same show and badmouthed the starlet like what she did with dolly anne… the next thing we know wa na career yung starlet pero andyan pa rin si annabelle

back to ruffa… sometime in 1999, there was a very influential DOM who wants ruffa por kilo… annabelle has no qualms kase nga me datung… well, this DOM has several wives and they live comfortably in posh villages (forbes park, wack-wack and the likes), kaya ok lang k annabelle… but this time ruffa refused… she rebelled so fly sya sa US… dito na yun start sya mag-job hunting of which she landed as anchor host of century and kasama na sa rebellion nya yung pagpapa-kasal kay richard daloia… and eventually she met yilmaz… at this point, nag-reconcile na ang mother and daughter…. and eto na sila ngayon…

sometimes i was asking, if ruffa’s jewelries really came from yilmaz or from annabelle
