wealthy and powerful playmates, anyone?

i can't help laughing when i learned that along the "corridors of power" - you know, the place where the so-called "elite" pass laws and regulations which the filipinos are expected to abide to, there had been a plague of rumour haunting even its darkest alleys alleging that a showbiz supermom had been peddling struggling starlets to new and upcoming "legislators" in return for "small favours" for the showbiz supermom. neat business deal, huh? it is also said that spouses of the powerful "elite" were disgusted to hear about this rumour and they really look down to this showbiz supermom - however, knowing the ethical background of the "peddler", these group of spouses were comfortable that their husbands wouldn't succumb to such "sales talk" ... interesting, huh?

Basta, share ko lang ang na pick up ko. Me moral lesson din ang article na ito. Kasi, obvious na sa buong mundo, parang maraming pinay ang nakakahiya dahil sa ginagawa nila. First and most iyang sina Ruffa at Gretchen. Nakakadiri silang pareho.

Ito nga pala iyong gusto kong i share. Sorry di ko nalagay sa post kung una kasi na hit ko agad ang "enter" before adding it. Here it is:

i read that article earlier and i agree with most of it. the problem is that, some people have this difficulty in differentiating what is right from wrong - instead of learning from the mistakes of others, some people tend to follow or "emulate" the examples of these "celebrities". the attitude amongst the most impressionable is that "if they can do it, i can do it, too" ... it's sad, but it's true.

what's happened to Phil? & Pilipino morals????

I'm getting a crash course what's going on there bec of loofah-- rather shocking as most of them are so amoral.so vacuous, so lame.

what's this gretchen quacking about anyway? having some designer stuff?

shoot! the koreans, Japanese, chinese buy out Hermes like it's going out of style & YOU HEAR NOTHING MUCH FROM THEM.And they go for the real high end stuff, too.

WHEN i WAS HOUSE MODEL FOR GUCCI'S BEV HILLS-- WE USED TO CLOSE THE STORE WHEN THE JAP TOURIST BUS STOPPED... LOL...they'd buy out t he scarves, handbags & almost everything else-- most as pressies for secretaries at the office.

they did this in London,Paris etc...

last week I was at car wsh-- this korean lady had a few thous$$$'s Fendi handbag & her friend had chanel... the expensive one.

I have seen a lot-- why I find this behaviour so gauche & no class.Actually, all very tacky. shows you-- they are not used to fine things-- if they keep advertising.

true ... it's amazing to see how REAL wealthy people carry themselves when it comes to "owning" expensive things without batting an eyelash compared to those who claim, or pretend, to be rich brandishing their expensive things on your face and telling you the brand as well as its price just for the sake of letting you know. BIG DIFFERENCE, huh?

YEAH... big difference! bec of modelling even in Europe-- I met a lot of these people--old money is so different from nouveau--I will really be namedropping if I even start-- I won't do that. Debrett's who's who-- even I got bored...lol... but they are very down to earth.

one example-- when I was living in Kensington-- I'd see some landed gentry riding the bus with patches in his well-worn plaid jacket-- like everyone else. no one would know who he is-- I just recognised him/them.

I met Agatha christie's daughter & her husband-- geez! I think their outfits were 30 yrs old & so country! I was so thrilled about that though.

A little birdie said that the Bisaya Heidi Fleiss is having stomach acid problems more than the usual to the point of throwing up. Not on the intrigues, no, but on the creditors she is hiding from, the ones that never went to court, the ones she only had 'verbal' arrangements with. The Promise ones, in exchange for a starlet, a favour or something much much worse. I dont want to be her when she'd go explain to the Lord the gravity of her sins to save her burning in the fires of hell.

oops anon-- won't be amazing if she's sending loofah to give out her party favours of blows-- wearing her fake tiara to the VIP's!

oh yes, bisaya is said to be the object of her creditors' ire nowadays - hunted and haunted! imagine making promisory notes one after the other ... ang next drama ni bisaya is to pretend that she has a heart problem. magpapa-awa sa mga creditors nya to avoid payment. pustahan tayo, ce ce?
