i just read the inquirer article about the arrest of the self-exiled Jose Maria Sison in The Netherlands ... this was initiated by virtue of an arrest warrant upon the request of the Philippine Government through the Interpol (?) ... oh well, if other governments are this accommodating to the Philippines, i really wonder what the Philippines would do if charges against ruffa stepped up in other countries such as the USA and Turkey - will they turn over ruffa for prosecution in a foreign soil where she committed her "self-confessed crimes"? makes me wonder ..... well, whatever will be, will be ...
people have claimed such charges were in place ... that the authorities involved were just waiting for ruffa to make one move of mistake to make that "jump" on her ... if this is the case, is such "sison-fate" - arrest on foreign soil - likely to happen to ruffa?

Has anyone read, or heard of the Bollywood actress who is in Jail now for some fraud case? She's in the news lately because of the fact that while in Jail, they found that the guards put a camera in her cell so they ended up with pictures of her naked while taking care of her personal day to day care.
This just proves that if that woman can end up in Jail. I'm sure Ruffa is no difference. If the Turkish government requests for her to meet with them in the Turkish court, I'm sure the Philippine government has to get her over there to take care of the issues.

Hello everybody . . . I love reading everyone's comment. Thank you all for sharing the youtubes, and other site. Keep on writing and commenting, there's a lot of us that reads this. It's great to know there are a lot of people that knows how to catch a fraud on someone. It's also interesting to know that in this day of age, people like Ruffa is still around and still act the way they do.

Boy Abunda, host of the ABS-CBN showbiz-oriented talk show “The Buzz,” became a bit jittery as his co-host and actress Ruffa Gutierrez went face to face with mother Annabelle Rama on live television for the first time Sunday since the visit of Yilmaz Bektas last month.
Rama, who had been at odds with her daughter for weeks, was reported to have been upset over her Gutierrez’s apparent reconciliation with her estranged Turkish husband during the latter’s visit in which he spent time with his wife and their children Lorin and Venice.
But in this meeting, Rama revealed a “remembrance” Bektas gave her daughter before he left for Turkey late last month. This “remembrance” she said made her know the true nature of her son-in-law.
Rama repeatedly asked Gutierrez to reveal what Bektas “gave” her before he left so the public may know. Gutierrez repeatedly refused to divulge what her mom was referring to. It came to a point that Gutierrez threatened to walk out of the live stage.
Bektas is set to arrive in the country anew on Tuesday for the birthday of daughter Venice. Rama warned Gutierrez not to entertain Bektas again when he returns. If so, Rama said, it would prove Gutierrez was still madly in love with Bektas and that she would give up on her daughter for good.
Here’s a verbatim transcript of the tension-filled encounter:
Ruffa: Hello mommy. You’re so pretty. Alam mo, ma, charity tayo ngayon kaya pag-usapan natin ang “RRRampa for a Cause” (the Gutierrez siblings’ fashion bazaar).
Annabelle: Alam mo Ruffa, lahat ng plastic sa show na ito nakita ko na.
Ruffa: You have to be charitable, ma. There’s a lot of kids watching, (that includes) Lorin and Venice. Ano ang message mo for Venice, ma, na mag-the-three na siya on Tuesday.
Annabelle: Ruffa, yung message ibibigay ko kay Venice, kaming dalawa lang. Pagpunta ko sa condo niya. Tanungin mo ako ng iba. Not about Venice. Ano?
Ruffa: Okay, marami ka daw mga offers ng pelikula. Bakit mo tinatanggihan? Isa lang ang tinanggap mo, yung “Monster Mom.” (Studio crowd laughs). Di ba ang title “My Monster Mom” (Regal Films).
Annabelle: Actually, hindi ako (‘The Buzz’ host) Boy (Abunda), hindi ako artista eh. Kaya tanggap ko lang, pinipili ko lang yung gusto kong storya, direktor. Ito kasing “Monster Mom,” maganda ang storya, magaling ang direktor at bayad na ako kay (Regal Films owner) Mother Lily (Monteverde) kaya gawin ko na talaga ang “Monster Mom” na yon.
Marami akong tinanggihan na commercials at saka pelikula kasi, unang-una, tinawaran ang beauty ko, pangalawa, di ko gusto ang storyboard. Kasi alam mo na, di naman ako artista, di ako makapag-memorize ng mga i-script-i-script. Gusto ko walang script na lang. Basahin ko na lang kung ano dapat ang sabihin. Yun sarili ko na lang script ang susundin ko.
Ruffa: Hindi ka ba na-offend nung tawagin kang “Monster Mom?”
Annabelle: Bakit naman ako ma-o-offend Ruffa? Kung sa palagay mo monster mom ako, eh di okay? Tanggapin ko. (Studio crowd howls).
Boy: Kanina may itatanong ang mommy mo sa iyo.
Ruffa: I’m not going to answer personal questions.
Annabelle: Ruffa, naghihintay ang taong bayan. Magsabi ka ng totoo.
Ruffa: Why? What do they have to do with my personal affairs?
Annabelle: Bago umalis si Yilmaz, anong binigay sa yong ano…
Ruffa: A rose.
Annabelle: Anong rose? Binigyan ka ng remembrance Ruffa.
Ruffa: Rose nga.
Annabelle: Hindi rose, Ruffa.
Ruffa: Okay, I’m not answering.
Annabelle: Gusto mo ako ang magsasabi na.
Ruffa: No.
Annabelle: Bakit ka natatakot Ruffa?
Ruffa: Tito Boy, I’m going to walk out ha?
Annabelle: Just tell the truth Ruffa. Walang masama kung magsasabi ka ng totoo.
Ruffa: Why will I tell the truth?
Annabelle: Kasi, pag-alis ni Yilmaz, akala nilang lahat, nagkabalikan kayo, sweet na sweet kayo. Hindi totoo lahat-lahat yon eh. Hindi naman kayo sweet eh. Sweet lang kayo dalawang araw. After that, wala na. At saka, umalis na siya Ruffa, may binigay sa iyong ano si Yilmaz. Magsabi ka ng totoo, day.
Ruffa: I’m going to stand up.
Annabelle: Na hindi mo makakalimutan. Kung papatawarin mo pa siya, luka-luka ka na Ruffa talaga. Maniwala ka sa akin. Pag bumalik siya dito at entertain-nin mo pa siya, Ruffa. Ewan ko, su-surrender na ako sa iyo day. Kasi nakita ko ang totoong pagkatao ni Yilmaz.
Boy: What is your prayer Ruffa pagdating dito? Kasi, obviously hindi talaga kayo magkakaintindihan pagdating kay Yilmaz. Ano ang dasal mo?
Ruffa: (In tears) Yung dasal ko siguro is just (for God) to protect me and to guide me. For God to show me the right way. Yun lang. I think what is important is my kids now.
Boy: Yun ang iniisip mo? Pero are you hoping, dahil hindi naman pwedeng ihiwalay ang iyong buhay sa iyong mga magulang and to be very serious about it, alam natin na may hindi pagkakaunawaan. Your mother and your parents are very protective of your welfare. Anong resolution ang nakikita mo? Is he really gonna move here and set-up your family here? Buy a house?
Ruffa: Actually, ayoko nang mapag-usapan si Yilmaz, Tito Boy eh. Para sa akin, ayoko nang pag-usapan…
Boy: You don’t wanna talk about him.
Ruffa: Yeah, I don’t wanna talk about him anymore.
Boy: You don’t wanna talk about him.
Annabelle: Talaga naman Ruffa dapat hindi na nating pag-usapan si Yilmaz. Kaya na-open ang topic na ito kasi maraming nagtatanong na naman sa akin kung bakit hindi na siya tumatawag sa mga ganyan-ganyan. Sabi ko nga, ang dasal ko talaga kay Yilmaz, makahanap ng babae na ma-in love talaga siya, na maloka-loka siya sa babae na yon, para makalimutan ka na niya. Yan ang lagi kong dinadasal. Para hindi ka na istorbohin gabi-gabi. Makakatulog ka na. Hindi ka pangoringan sa telepono. Yan ang pangarap ko Ruffa na mag-move on ka na. Makalimutan mo na siya. Ngayon darating siyang September 11, entertain-in mo na naman siya Ruffa?
Ruffa: Eh di dapat ikaw ang mag-entertain sa kanya.
Annabelle: Hindi ako mag-eentertain sa kanya. Never. Bakit ako ang mag-eentertain sa kanya?
Boy: Alam ko, mahirap ang pinag-dadaanan natin. Hindi lang naman kayo. I mean I’d like to be very clear about this. Mga kaibigan, alam kong marami po ang nanonood. Hindi po ito set-up. I can almost smell the tension. Pero maraming mga mag-iina ang ganito ang pinag-dadaanan. Ganito na lamang ang pagtatapos nito. Dahil nakita naman namin ang lahat ng pinagdaanan ninyo, how much do you love each other? Ruffa, how much do you love your mom?
Ruffa: A lot.
Annabelle: Yung totoo Ruffa. Totoo.
Boy: You say it, how much do you love your mom?
Ruffa: Siyempre I love her. And, you know, minsan di lang kami nagkakasundo over some things.
Boy: But you love her?
Ruffa: (nods)
Annabelle: Anong klaseng love yan Ruffa? Di ka nakikinig sa nanay mo? Pag love mo ang isang tao, dapat pakinggan mo. Katulad ng pagmamahal mo kay Yilmaz. Maski anong ginagawa sa yo, mahal mo pa rin siya. Dapat ganoon ang gawin mo sa nanay mo.
Ruffa: Kaya mahal din kita. Kahit ano pa ang ginawa mo to me.
Annabelle: Galing ba sa puso mo yan Ruffa?
Boy: (To Annabelle) Gaano mo kamahal si Ruffa?
Annabelle: Kung di ko siya mahal, Boy, dapat matagal na siyang nawala sa buhay ko, di ba? Kaya nandiyan pa siya hanggang ngayon, at tignan mo ang itsura niya hanggang ngayon, dahil sa pag-ke-care ko naman sa kanya. Kasi kung hindi, sampu na ang anak niya sa ibang lalaki noong naging boyfriend niya.
Ruffa: Eeewww…kadiri ano ba yan?
Annabelle: Eeewww Ruffa. Just tell the truth Ruffa. Huwag na tayong mag-maang-maangan. Matanda na tayong dalawa. Just tell the truth. Tapos na yon. Past na yon. Ang sinaabi ko lang kung di ako nakialam sa buhay mo, di ko alam kung anong nangyari sa iyo ngayon. Yung lalaking yon, ayaw ko naman siyang banggitin ang pangalan kasi useless. Nabaon na yon sa lupa. Pero ang sinaabi ko lang dati.
Boy: Grabe ho ang tension dito po sa studio pero ang aking dasal sana’y maayos ang lahat. Sana madaanan nating lahat ninyong dalawa ang lahat ng itong pinagdadaanan ninyo in God’s good time. Ruffa, thank you.
Ruffa: Thank you. Thank you, ma, for guesting on the show. Pinaluha mo na naman ako.
Annabelle: Dapat Ruffa next time huwag mong iinit ang ulo ng nanay mo. Kasi buti napapipigil-pigil ako kanina. Hindi ako nagsasabi ng totoo pa.
According to PEP, Venice's birthday party bill was handed to Annabelle and not to Ruffa. Ruffa also mentioned before that she didn't have time to even think of a bday party for Venice because she's too busy with her work. The party's theme was Disney princesses but the kiddie guests were in casual attire so there's obviously no preparation for the party, with the simple decor and give-aways being handled by the venue. Kung baga, madalian talaga and obviously, lola Annabelle handled the gastos.
hmmmp! etching lang ni ruffing yung excuse na wala syang time to organize a party for her daughter --- the truth still stands: HER CASH IS TIGHT TO EVEN GET HER CHILD AN EXTRAVAGANT GIFT FROM HER!
lately it's noticeable na at least gusto nang magpaka-totoo ng nanay nya when it comes to the true status ng married life ni ruffing --- but then again pwede ba tigilan na nilang magladlad ng baho nila in public -- yaiks, on national TV pa!
It's also too obvious now that Yilmaz, being bragged by Ruffa as a good and loving father to their kids, doesn't give any financial support at all. Iyan ba ang super milyonaryo at loving father kuno, can't even finance the bday party of her beloved daughter. Work to death si Ruffa to maintain her mala-mayaman na image because the truth is Yilmaz doesn't provide the moolah for the kids. Even Annabelle announced on national TV that marami siyang pinapakain ngayon, kasi pinabayaan na ni Yilmaz ang kanyang obligation to provide for her daughters. Loving father???? Waahhhhhh....
Alam niyo pa peeps, isn't it interesting to find out that right in front of the camera, Ruffa said, "why should I tell the truth?". Does that tell you something or what? I'm really surprised the Philippines still supports Ruffa with giving her projects, contract, endorsements, etc., when just by saying what she said proves she doesn't deserve to be in the position she's in now because she's admitted that she is a liar. She also said, "what does the people have anything to do with her private life?". When in fact, she's the one who dragged the people into her private life kasi nga wala naman siyang talent so she's always using her private life to get the people's attention.
I'm so glad that I don't live in Philippines anymore, and I don't have to see this person in my tv,billboard, or commercials. I wouldn't spend my dime to any such trash as the likes of Ruffa.

Yeah, I agree--Ruffa is struggling for money. My gosh! Compare the parties she put out then to what her daughter have now, what the hell!!! Plus, mommy niya ang nag bayad. That tells people a lot, isn't it.
The worst part about it is that Ruffa still doesn't see the light or even have any clue on how to get herself and her kids out of the ditch. She seemed to still hope for that rich guy to save them and give their luho back.

If there’s one thing Ruffa Gutierrez has learned from husband Yilmaz Bektaz, it is the importance of sharing and charity.
“It’s like giving back,” says Ruffa of her charity fund-raising titled RRRampa for a Cause on Sept. 16 at Rockwell Tent.
“It was Yilmaz who motivated me to help our kababayan, especially the less fortunate,” continues the beauty queen-actress. “I did similar activities like visiting institutions, orphanages and people afflicted with leukemia back in Istanbul. Yilmaz would do the same thing there.”
After all, Ruffa is 1993 Second Princess at the Miss World, a pageant known for its beauty with purpose credo. As Ruffa put it in the pageant’s interview segment, “What is essential is invisible to the naked eye.”
Whether she is living up to what the Little Prince says in the Antoine de Saint-Exupery novel, Ruffa is definitely cooking up something good for others.
RRRampa for a Cause is somewhat a sequel to Ruffa’s Celebrity Bazaar last year with the Leyte Landslide victims as beneficiaries.
The young mother hopes that RRRampa will surpass the P1-M mark collected last year in 10 days. The fund-raising accepts donations in the form of money, kind and pledges.
This early, Ruffa is happy to the warm response and support RRRampa for a Cause is getting from her friends. Manny Pacquiao and direk Carlo J. Caparas reportedly donated a considerable large amount of money.
Coming up with the fund-raiser, however, shares Ruffa, was a challenge in itself given her showbiz schedule. She has a weekly show The Buzz and tapes for Kokey, which was extended from seven to 13 weeks due to good ratings.
Of course, anyone cannot put down or shelve something for a good cause.
Ruffa had to set the date and squeezed in the project in her schedule. Voila! She was able to fix the event’s nitty-gritty in two weeks, including coordination with the designers and participants and fittings. Besides, she had also to tap the creative minds who will man the event. Ruffa adds she had to be aggressive with RRRampa, or else the project won’t see the light of day.
RRRampa for a Cause consists of celebrity bazaars and gala night showcasing the designs of fashion designers like Rajo Laurel, Ivarluski Aseron, Avel Bacudio, Rhett Eala, Paul Cabral and Inno Sotto. The bazaar opens from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while the fashion is at 9 p.m. Beneficiaries for this year’s event are World Vision and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Asked how’s her relationship with Yilmaz, Ruffa replied, “There’s no ending and beginning. We don’t know what the future holds. We communicate for the kids. Part of healing is giving each other’s space.” That space has given Ruffa the opportunity to grow as an individual and as an artist. It’s a time for her to understand, love and value herself more.
Now that everything seems well in the home front, Ruffa looks at her recent marital problem with a grain of salt. On hindsight, she recalls the issue got out of hand. The only mistake Ruffa committed was answering all the questions and statements media and her husband brought to the fore.
To avoid similar situation in the future, Ruffa intends to be quiet on her relationship with Yilmaz.
With the way she answered the questions about Yilmaz, it seems Ruffa has put everything behind her — and that she has moved on.
“God will find a way to bring us together,” says Ruffa.

Just an example: Camille Prats family, especially her dad rose to the occasion finding out she's pregnant. He stood up as the Padre de familia according to John. What ever happened to Mr. Eddie Gutierrez? Somehow, you kind of wonder what the hell happened? It makes you realize why things got out of hand.
She has time to put together a fund raiser, but no time to put together a birthday party for her daughter? Hello!!! I know it's an empty head, but at least there's should be a caretaker standing by? Or maybe, the caretaker is dead too? That's sucks!!!

i don't regret ever cancelling my tfc, even sa youtube i don't watch the buzz, sawang sawa na ako sa pagmumukha nya!!! she has these really irritating poses--as if she's always in a beauty pageant and any moment ay ra-rampa!!! not to mention the permanent smirk on her face!!! to top it all up, when she opens her mouth to speak, i hear jun lalin!!! my josh, she's such an eye sore and her voice can cause major ear infections!!!

I ordered tfc when it was first offered here-- thought 'why not'? I have been so out of touch with phil & did it also for my mother. boy! did I get a huge culture shock!!!!!! I persevered watching trying to g et my money's worth--& this was all before loofah--I know I am not missing anything.I'd rather watch cctv9-- Beijing-- their own CNN & BBC-- top notch--great news coverage & entertainment even..
as for ruffa on the buzz--saw all those tiresome expressions with her Pantene commercial-- what can one expect??? she thinks that's animation with her pea brains.
as for turkey??? I always wanted to s ee that country-- who can resist it's history? the land built by the Ottomans-- the land of sulaiman the Great-- it has a fabulous history though bloody. Get the ratings right

ABS-CBN chairman and president Gabby Lopez was quoted stating to reporters during the corporation’s annual stockholders meeting that their sales pitch to advertisers is that even if the mega Manila ratings between GMA and ABS-CBN look neck-to-neck, the latter is “actually ahead significantly in Metro Manila where the higher disposable income is.”
My curiosity triggered by Gabby’s surprising claim, I contacted my source who has access to the official AGBNMR Philippines ratings and asked for the breakdown of the mega Manila ratings, namely the Metro Manila and the suburbs. I was given a copy of the AGBNMR numbers from January to April 2006 for the total day and evening segment ratings and, lo and behold, nowhere in the mega Manila, Metro Manila or Suburb ratings did ABS-CBN rate higher than GMA!
The total day figures posted from January to April 2006 showed GMA with a mega Manila household average of 18.0 while ABS-CBN only scored 13.4. The breakdown showed GMA rating 17.0 in Metro Manila and 20.1 in the suburbs with ABS-CBN posting 14.4 in Metro Manila and 11.3 in the suburbs. So where did Gabby get the idea that ABS-CBN is “ahead significantly” in Metro Manila?
Perhaps it’s just a recent win. So I checked the total day ratings for April 2006 alone. Mega Manila ratings for April showed GMA with 17.2 and ABS-CBN with 12.2. The Metro Manila figures also showed no sign of an ABS-CBN win because GMA scored 15.8 versus ABS-CBN’s 13.5. And if you throw in the suburbs ratings for April, it’s definitely GMA’s game with a glaring 19.9 score over ABS-CBN’s 9.8.
Given what I discovered in the AGBNMR ratings, it really makes me wonder why Gabby reported what he did in the annual stockholders meeting. Was he giving their stockholders false hopes?
Preferred newscast
GMA Network’s primetime newscast, 24 Oras, is still the preferred newscast by mega Manila viewers to date, according to recent ratings data from AGBNMR.
AGBNMR mega Manila TV household ratings from April 1 to 30, (with April 23 to 28 data based on overnight ratings) shows 24 Oras posting an average 25.6 against the TV Patrol’s 20.4 percent (Monday to Friday).
Relative to Metro Manila ratings, mega Manila ratings data are the accepted figures in terms of research evaluations and client presentations. “Very few clients look at the Metro Manila ratings because mega Manila represents one major market, and not a collection of many markets. Thus breaking down the ratings into Metro Manila and suburbs is not generally done,” according to GMA Marketing and Productions Inc. president Manuel Quiogue.
ABS-CBN, in an article published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer last May 3, used only Metro Manila ratings to claim that “in the past three weeks, TV Patrol has been posting higher ratings in three out of five days.”
But ABS-CBN’s claim, according to GMA Network’s head for corporate communications Butch Raquel is not only incomplete, but is also inaccurate based on data. “Metro Manila ratings, as against mega Manila ratings where TV Patrol has never won a single day versus 24 Oras, shows that TV Patrol won over 24 Oras only five times over a period of four weeks of April and three of these wins were even less than one rating point,” Raquel said.
Raquel also said since the launch of 24 Oras’ new multimillion, high-tech and state-of-the-art set three weeks ago, the Kapuso primetime newscast has generally registered stronger ratings as compared to its competitor. “24 Oras even posted an 11-point plus rating advantage over TV Patrol last May 2 and 3, and an almost 6-point advantage for its May 1 Labor Day coverage, based on overnight ratings data from AGBNM,” Raquel said.
“Ratings also show that GMA News is the preferred news source during significant events such as the Feb. 24 State of national emergency declaration, Marine headquarters standoff last Feb. 26, the landslide of Guinsaugon in St. Bernard, Southern Leyte, and the events related to the “Hello Garci” controversy last year,” Raquel added.
Significantly, 24 Oras has also captured the viewers’ preference in other key cities such as Iloilo, Cebu and Davao, with Cebu and Davao being former strongholds of ABS-CBN.

Nakakaaliw naman ang bunsong anak ni Yilmaz Bektas at Ruffa Gutierrez, ang pagkakaalam ni Venice ay nasa outer space ang kanyang ama, kasama ang sikat na sikat na karakter ng telebisyon ngayon na si Kokey.
Kwento sa amin ni Ruffa, nung bago raw kasi umalis si Yilmaz ay sinabi nito sa kanilang mga anak na anumang oras itong maalala ng mga bata ay isipin lang ng mga ito na nandun ang banyaga sa outer space, kasama si Kokey.
“Yun ang ipinagbilin niya sa mga bata, kaya ngayon, kapag tinatanong n’yo sina Lorin at Venice kung nasaan ang daddy nila, ang isinasagot nila, nasa space,” tumatawang kwento sa amin ng magandang actress-beauty queen.
Sinabi raw sa kanya ni Yilmaz na maaari itong dumating anumang oras ngayon, babati lang daw ng happy birthday kay Venice ang kanyang mister, pagkatapos nun ay aalis na rin ito.
Aalsa na naman ang dugo ni Tita Annabelle Rama kapag dumating si Yilmaz, ang mag-ina na naman ang magkakaroon ng problema, dahil hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin nito mapatawad ang ginawang pananakit sa kanyang panganay ni Yilmaz.

Nag lead daw ang Buzz over Central, eh just look by how far. You can tell it was just a slip up. Palagay ko last weekend maraming tao ang nag outing kaya lang naka angat ang buzz. Tse, ABS-CBN talo ka na, kasi kuha kayo ng kuha ng laos na walang talent gaya ni Ruffa.
